Team Roping
Head rope or heel rope: different jobs, different ropes.
31 ft
Head ropes
The header needs a loop that stays open and reaches the horns fast. Precision head ropes come in softer lays, from XXS through MS.
35 ft
Heel ropes
The heeler works with a longer rope and usually a firmer lay, so the loop holds its shape under the feet. Heel lays run MS, M and, on most 4 strand models, HM.

Ranch Work
More rope for the pasture and the pen.
Ranch ropes run longer than arena ropes, giving you room to work cattle in open country, at the branding fire or in the sorting pen.

Full Rope Coils
Cut, tie and finish ropes your way.
Full coils suit saddle shops building custom ranch ropes and ropers who like to set their own length and honda. The white, green, orange and gray coils are 4 strand PolyBlend, a blend of three polymer materials that achieves its feel and weight without added lead.

Head Ropes vs. Heel Ropes: What Changes in Team Roping?
Why can't you choose a team rope by color or brand alone? Because the header and the heeler do different jobs, and their ropes are built in different lengths and lays to match.
Understanding Rope Lay: XS, S, MS, M and HM
What do lay ratings mean, and how do you choose one? Lay is a maker's label for how soft or stiff a rope feels in your hand, read as a scale from softest to firmest.
4-Strand vs. 6-Strand Team Ropes: What Should You Compare?
Does adding strands automatically make a rope better? No. Strand count changes how a rope is built and how it can feel, but the right choice depends on your position, lay and preference.
Ranch Ropes vs. Team Ropes: Choosing for the Job
Should you buy a ranch rope or a team rope? Start with where the rope will be used. Arena team roping and day-to-day ranch work ask different things of a rope, so the two categories are built and sold differently.

Wholesale InquiryAbout Precision Ropes
Started by a roper.
Precision Ropes began in 2009 with Daniel Fachin, a team roper who wanted ropes that matched what he needed in the arena and could not find them.
